Yesterday Apple has rolled out a buggy iOS 8.0.1 and they addressed the issue quickly. The iOS 8.0.2 is live now and it is basically the fixed version of iOS 8.0.1. From the response of the public, it seems that this update has solved the cellular connectivity and Touch ID problems found on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
