Apple had announced the iOS 8 on June and finally it is time for the public release after versions and versions of beta. It will come one week later on 17th of September to all eligible devices. The iOS 8 will be compatible with iPhone 4s and newer iPhones, iPod Touch 5th Gen, iPad 2 and newer iPads, including the minis. Of course, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus that were just launched are already running iOS 8 out of the box. The main features included in iOS 8 are Continuity, iCloud Drive, Family Sharing, third party keyboard support and more. You can learn more about iOS 8 here.
As usual, you can get the update via iTunes or OTA (over the air) on your devices. Just make sure you back up your device and free up a few GBs of storage if you want to install the update. I cannot wait to try all the new things introduced and I will update my 3rd generation iPad as soon as possible. Stay tuned for the performance and feature reports.
