The iOS 8 will be compatible with iPhone 4s and newer iPhones, iPod Touch 5th Gen, iPad 2 and newer iPads, including the minis. Of course, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus that were just launched are already running iOS 8 out of the box. As usual, you can get the update via iTunes or OTA (over the air) on your devices. Just make sure you back up your device and free up a few GBs of storage if you want to install the update. I cannot wait to try all the new things introduced and I will update my 3rd generation iPad as soon as possible. Stay tuned for the performance and feature reports.
